HBO will broadcast Robin Williams’ newest solo show, Weapons of Self-Destruction in December. The tour, which relaunches on September 30 in Bloomington, Indiana, was postponed earlier this year due to heart surgery.

Among the stops for the tour are the Borgata Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, Chicago, Atlanta, Orlando, Detroit, Saint Louis, and Washington, D.C.

In addition to tearing into eight years of George Bush’s presidency and other political absurdities, the show touches on Williams’ own struggles with divorce, addiction, and rehab, using the comedian’s trademark free associations and riffs.

Williams has appeared on the New York stage in Waiting for Godot, and Robin Williams: Live on Broadway. He received the Academy Award for Good Will Hunting, and his many other films include Dead Poets Society, Mrs Doubtfire, Awakenings, Hook, The Fisher King, Patch Adams, Happy Feet, and Night at the Museum.
