David Schwimmer will reunite with his former Friends co-star Lisa Kudrow on the new season of her Showtime comedy Web Therapy, according to published reports.

He will play a man who was traumatized after witnessing a “romantic encounter” between his father and Kudrow’s character, Fiona, and is now only attracted to women who resemble the therapist.

Schwimmer has appeared on Broadway in The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial. His theater directing credits include the Off-Broadway production of Stephen Belber’s Fault Lines and the Lookingglass Theatre Company’s Trust, which he co-wrote with Andy Bellin, and he will direct the Bush Theatre’s upcoming production of Dry Ice.
