Laura Benanti Cast in NBC’s Playboy Pilot

Tony Award winner Laura Benanti is set to star in NBC’s drama pilot Playboy, according to Deadline.com.
The project is set at the Playboy Club in Chicago in 1963, and Benanti will play Carol-Lynne, a 30-year-old bombshell and an established star at the club who knows that her days as a Bunny are numbered.
Benanti won the Tony for Gypsy, and her many stage credits include Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, Into the Woods, Nine, Wonderful Town, and Swing!. She previously co-starred on ABC’s Eli Stone and FX’s Starved.
