
Bass-baritone Daniel Okulitch will celebrate the release of his debut solo CD, New American Art Songs, with a concert at Weill Recital Hall/Carnegie Hall on March 28. GPR Records will release the disc on the same day.
The disc and concert will feature songs by such composers as Ricky Ian Gordon, Jake Heggie, Lowell Liebermann, and Glen Roven.
Okulitch was was seen on Broadway and in Los Angeles in Baz Luhrmann’s La Boheme. Among his other credits are such new operas as The Fly and The Golden Ticket, as well as title roles in Don Giovanni and The Marriage of Figaro.
