Mayim Bialik, Patty Farmer, Stephin Merritt, Kevin Smith Set for Barnes & Noble Events in March

Barnes & Noble has announced the events to be held in its New York City locations in March.
Among the highlights is a musical performance from Stephin Merritt in conjunction with the release of The Magnetic Fields’ new album, Love at the Bottom of the Sea, to take place at the 33 East 17th Street location on Thursday, March 8 at 7pm. Merritt composed the music for the musical adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s novel, Coraline.
Additional events will feature actress Mayim Bialik at the 97 Warren Street location on March 6; Patty Farmer promoting her new book Persian Room Presents: An Oral History of New York’s Most Magical Night Spot at the 2289 Broadway location on March 7; and filmmaker Kevin Smith at the East 17th Street store on March 21.
Among the other participants at March events are Giada de Laurentiis, Rachel Maddow, Olaf Olafsson, Jeanette Winterson, and Kristi Yamaguchi.
