Tony Awards Nominations Date Revealed

The American Theatre Wing has released the 2015 Tony Awards calendar of events.

The calendar is as follows:

Thursday, April 23: Official cut-off for 2014-2015 Tony Eligibility.

Tuesday, April 28: 2015 Tony Award nominations are announced at the Diamond Horseshoe at the Paramount Hotel.

Wednesday, April 29: Annual Meet the Nominees Press Reception at the Paramount Hotel.

Friday, May 15: Exclusive Tony Nominees' Luncheon at the Paramount Hotel, where the nominees celebrate each other’s achievements and receive their nomination certificates.

Sunday, June 7: The 69th Annual Tony Wards are held from 8-11pm at Radio City Music Hall.

The American Theatre Wing’s Tony Awards are presented by the Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing. At the Broadway League, Robert E. Wankel is chairman and Charlotte St. Martin is executive director. At the American Theatre Wing, William Ivey Long is chairman and Heather Hitchens is president. Ricky Kirshner and Glenn Weiss of White Cherry Entertainment are the executive producers of the 2015 Tony Awards. Weiss will also serve as director of the 2015 Tony Awards.
