Nathan Lane, Ana Gasteyer, and More to Perform at Primary Stages Gala

The annual event will honor Tony-winning ”Hairspray” songwriting partners Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman.

Primary Stages' annual gala will be held on Monday, November 16 at 583 Park Avenue and will honor the Tony and Grammy Award-winning composer and lyricists Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman.

The evening will feature musical numbers from Shaiman and Wittman's Hairspray, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Catch Me If You Can, and the TV show Smash. Presenters and performers will include Obie winner Bridget Everett (Rock Bottom), Ana Gasteyer (Wicked, Saturday Night Live), Annie Golden (Violet, Orange is the New Black), emcee Jackie Hoffman (On the Town), Tony winner Nathan Lane (The Producers), Caissie Levy (Les Misérables), Aaron Tveit (Grease! LIVE), Marc Shaiman (performing a number from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory), and other surprise guests.
