Here Comes the Bride! Sierra Boggess, Tyne Daly, and Stars of It Shoulda Been You Meet the Press

The new Broadway musical, directed by David Hyde Pierce, also stars Harriet Harris, David Burtka, and Lisa Howard.

Tyne Daly, Harriet Harris, and the cast of Brian Hargrove and Barbara Anselmi's new musical It Shoulda Been You met the press at the Pronovias bridal shop on Tuesday, February 17. Directed by Tony and Emmy winner David Hyde Pierce, the Broadway production will open April 14 at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre with previews beginning March 17. The show originally ran at New Jersey's George Street Playhouse in 2011.

It Shoulda Been You is described as "a culture clash for the ages" that follows two families who come together to celebrate a wedding. Daly and Harris play mothers of the bride and groom, alongside Sierra Boggess, Lisa Howard, David Burtka, Edward Hibbert, Chip Zien, Montego Glover, Josh Grisetti, Michael X. Martin, Anne L. Nathan, and Nick Spangler.

The creative team for It Shoulda Been You includes Josh Rhodes (choreography), Anna Louizos (set design), William Ivey Long (costume design), Ken Billington (lighting design), and Nevin Steinberg (sound design), with additional lyrics by Jill Abramovitz, Carla Rose Fisher, Michael Cooper, Ernie Lijoi, and Will Randall.
