The new Broadway musical Finding Neverland, which originated in the fall of 2014 at American Repertory Theater, will end its run at Broadway's Lunt-Fontanne Theatre on Sunday, August 21, after 33 previews and 565 performances. The show began previews March 15, 2014, and opened on April 15.

The production is set to begin a West End run in spring 2017, with an American tour beginning October 11, 2016, at Shea's Performing Arts Center in Buffalo, New York. The musical is expected to return to Broadway following the tour, and a film adaptation of the production is in the works.

Featuring a score by Gary Barlow and Eliot Kennedy and a book by James Graham, Finding Neverland explores the friendship of playwright J.M. Barrie and Sylvia Llewelyn Davies, a widowed mother whose four boys inspired the beloved Peter Pan stories. It is based on the 2004 film of the same title, which itself was based on Allan Knee's play The Man Who Was Peter Pan. Diane Paulus directs, with choreography by Mia Michaels.

The current Broadway company is led by Alfie Boe as J.M. Barrie, Laura Michelle Kelly as Sylvia Llewelyn Davies, Marc Kudisch as Charles Frohman, and Sally Ann Triplett as Madame Du Maurier. The original Broadway company featured Matthew Morrison as Barrie, Kelsey Grammer as Frohman, and Carolee Carmello as Du Maurier.

The production features scenic design by Scott Pask, lighting design by Kenneth Posner, costume design by Suttirat Larlarb, and sound design by Jonathan Deans.
