Barbra Streisand has gone platinum yet again. Streisand's latest album, Partners, has hit the milestone of selling more than 1 million copies in the United States, and extends the singer's record for the most platinum album certifications for a woman in the history of the Recording Industry Association of America. Partners is Streisand's 31st platinum album.

The record debuted in the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 in September 2014, her 10th album to top that chart. Streisand's 34th studio album, Partners finds Streisand singing duets with male vocalists including Stevie Wonder, Michael Bublé, Billy Joel, John Legend, John Mayer, Andrea Bocelli, Lionel Richie, Jason Gould, and Elvis Presley.

Streisand is also the recipient of two Oscars, five Emmys, 10 Golden Globes, eight Grammys, a special Tony Award, a Kennedy Center Honor, the National Medal of Honor, and the American Film Institute Life Achievement Award, among others. Her Broadway credits include the original productions of Funny Girl and I Can Get It for You Wholesale.
