AENY-El Puente, with the support of the Spanish Consulate of New York, will present the world premiere of Wearing Lorca's Bowtie. Josh Hecht and Ignacio García-Bustelo will direct the production, which will play The Duke on 42nd Street, December 8-17.

Wearing Lorca's Bowtie is inspired by internationally acclaimed Spanish poet and playwright Federico Garcia Lorca and his life-changing trip to New York City in 1929. The production will unite 15 individual artists as they dream of Lorca and explore the wonderment and loneliness that New York emanates - blending fantasy with actual moments from Lorca's own work and personal experiences.

AENY-El Puente artists include: Benita Benéitez, Adela Bolet, Freia Canals, María Cuartero, Beatriz de la Cruz, Sebastián Gálvez, Juan Carlos López, Puela Lunaris, Javier Moreno, Pep Munoz, Soraya Padrao, Amara C.
