Stage and screen stars Patricia Clarkson and Danny Glover, along with Devon Graye, Madeleine Martin, and wrestling champ John Cena, have been cast in the film Brother’s Keeper, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Mel Damski will direct the film, which has a screenplay by John Posey.

The movie focuses on a teenage boy (Graye) who tries to reunite his mother (Clarkson) and estranged older brother (Cena) ten years after the death of their father, a state college wrestling legend.

Clarkson has been seen on Broadway in The House of Blue Leaves and Eastern Standard and Off-Broadway in Nicky Silver’s The Maiden’s Prayer. Glover was not only in the original 1982 cast of Athol Fugard’s MASTER HAROLD…and the boys on Broadway, but also appeared in its revival in 2003.
