Tony Winner Dale Wasserman Dies at 94

Tony Award winner Dale Wasserman, who wrote the book to the musical Man of La Mancha as well as the film’s screenplay, has died of heart failure at the age of 94, according to Variety.

Wasserman also wrote the play version of Ken Kesey’s novel, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, television adaptations of The Citadel and The Power and the Glory (which starred Laurence Olivier, Julie Harris, and George C. Scott.), and the film A Walk With Love and Death, which was directed by John Huston and starred his daughter Angelica Huston.
