The play, last seen in New York in 1921, focuses on Philip Madras, the heir to a leading London fashion emporium established by his father Constantine, who abandoned his family and established a polygamous household in Iraq. Constantine then returns to England to sell the family business. Granville Barker is best known as the author of The Voysey Inheritance and Waste.

Morfogen appeared last season in Theatre for a New Audience's production of All's Well That Ends Well and is best known for his role as Rebadow on HBO's Oz.
