The Broadway production of Theresa Rebeck's Dead Accounts celebrated its opening night at the Music Box Theatre on Thursday, November 29. The production, which is directed by Tony Award-winner Jack O'Brien, began previews on November 5.

Two-time Tony winner Norbert Leo Butz heads the cast as Jack, who returns to his family home in Ohio with a multi-million dollar secret. The show also stars Katie Holmes as his sister, Lorna, Jayne Houdyshell as their mother, Barbara, Josh Hamilton as Jack's childhood friend, Phil, and Judy Greer as Jack's icy wife, Jenny.

The production features scenic design by David Rockwell, costume design by Catherine Zuber, lighting design by David Weiner, composition/sound design by Mark Bennett, and hair design by Tom Watson.

Guests at the opening night celebration included Tony Award winners Cherry Jones (Doubt), Nathan Lane (The Producers), and Michael Mayer (Spring Awakening); Tony nominees Victor Garber (Damn Yankees), Zeljko Ivanek (The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial), Lily Rabe (The Merchant of Venice), and Sherie Rene Scott (Everyday Rapture); as well as John Barrett, Bobbi Brown, Christian Camargo (All My Sons), Bill Heck (The Orphans' Home Cycle), Maggie Grace (Picnic), Richard Kind (Sly Fox), Terry Kinney (Checkers), Maggie Lacey (The Orphans' Home Cycle), Hettienne Park (Seminar), Rosanna Scotto, Brooke Shields (The Addams Family), Dee Snider (Rock of Ages), Louise Sorel, Jessica Walter (Anything Goes), and Robert Verdi.
