Dee Dee Bridgewater, Maurice Hines Set for Apollo Club Harlem

Tony Award nominee Maurice Hines (Sophisticated Ladies) will host and direct Apollo Club Harlem, a new musical revue, to play Harlem's famed Apollo Theatre, February 18, 22 and 23 at 8:30pm.

The show will feature the talents of Tony Award winner Dee Dee Bridgewater (The Wiz), vocalist Cecile Salvant, dancers Storyboard P and Dormeshia, and a 16-piece big-band led musical director David Berger, who will perform such Swing-era hits as "Fine and Mellow," "Drop Me Off in Harlem," and "Paper Moon."

The creative team will include set and lighting designer Burke Wilmore and costume designer Emilio Sosa.
