Barb Jungr Sets Dates for National Tour of The Men I Love

Barb Jungr has announced a series of performances to be offered around the country, which will begin with a November 28 concert at Joe’s Pub. The events are being held in conjunction with the recent release of her The Men I Love: The New American Songbook album.

Other appearances will include ones on November 29-30 at Nighttown in Cleveland, OH; December 1-4 at the Kranzberg Arts Center in Grand Center in St. Louis, MO; and December 7-8 at The Rrazz Room at Hotel Nikko in San Francisco, CA.

On the CD, Jungr offers interpretations of songs by Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Bruce Springsteen, Paul Simon, David Byrne and more in new arrangements she has created with pianist and composer Simon Wallace.

Jungr received the 2008 Nightlife Award for Outstanding Cabaret Vocalist and a Best International Artist 2003 Backstage Award. Her other recordings include Just Like a Woman – A Hymn to Nina, Walking in the Sun, Love Me Tender, Waterloo Sunset, and Every Grain of Sand.
