Open Auditions for Rent Scheduled for November 28

The producers of Rent will hold open auditions for both the Broadway production and an all-new national tour on Monday, November 28 at 37 Arts (450 West 37th Street) from 10am to 3pm, with sign-up beginning at 9:30am.

Both Equity and non-Equity performers are welcome. The producers are seeking hip, authentic singers of all ethnicities in their 20s. Applicants should be ready to sing 16 bars of a contemporary rock, pop, or gospel song a cappella — no musical theater tunes! Applicants should bring sheet music and a photo/résumé.
