Glover, Kitt, Pinkins, Streep, et al. Set for The Public Sings

Zach Braff, Betty Buckley, Lea DeLaria, Savion Glover, Eartha Kitt, Donna McKechnie, Idina Menzel, Donna Murphy, Rosie Perez, Tonya Pinkins, Billy Porter, Natalie Portman, Rosie Perez, Meryl Streep, Mary Testa, and Lillias White are among the stars scheduled to perform in The Public Sings, a concert featuring selections from musicals produced by The Public Theater, to be held on Monday, January 30 at City Center. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Public.
The concert will be directed by Tony Award winner James Lapine. Among the shows to be represented at this special event are Hair, A Chorus Line, Bring In da Noise, Bring in da Funk, Runaways, The Wild Party, and Caroline, or Change.
Regular tickets to the event range in price from $20 to $750, premium tickets from $1,000 to $5,000. Tickets will go on sale on Friday, December 2, and can be ordered by calling 212-581-1212. Premium tickets must be ordered by calling 212-539-8633.
