The legendary actress, singer, and arts advocate Kitty Carlisle Hart, who recently celebrated her 94th birthday, will be honored along with her late husband, playwright and director Moss Hart, by the Metropolitan Opera Guild on November 21. The gala celebration, titled Hart to Hart, will be held at Avery Fisher Hall.

Julie Andrews and Beverly Sills will co-host the evening, which will feature appearances and performances by Jane Alexander, Polly Bergen, Michael Feinstein, Rosemary Harris, Celeste Holm, Nathan Lane, and Audra McDonald, among others. The program will also include film clips of Moss Hart’s work — including rare performance footage of Andrews, Richard Burton, and Robert Goulet in the Broadway production of Camelot — and clips from Mrs. Hart’s many television and film appearances.

Tickets are priced from $50 to $2,500 and may be ordered by calling 212-769-7062. All proceeds from the event will benefit the education programs of the Metropolitan Opera Guild, as well as the Metropolitan Opera itself.
