Haters are gonna hate, but Broadway keeps on lovin'.

Last week, a group of University of Mississippi football players attended a campus production of The Laramie Project, the renowned play by Moisés Kaufman and members of the Tectonic Theater Project. The piece draws on real interviews with residents of Laramie, Wyoming, as they respond to the 1998 murder of Matthew Shepard, a gay student from the University of Wyoming.

In the middle of the performance, the athletes began heckling cast members, shouting hateful and bigoted comments for which University of Mississippi officials issued an apology on Thursday.

In an act of true theatrical camaraderie, the cast of Big Fish, which celebrates its Broadway opening tonight, took the time to put together a video for the Ole Miss cast of The Laramie Project, extending love and support to their fellow artists. Take a look as the Broadway company sends some New York love down south.
