On Wednesday, October 3, the new Lifetime Original Movie version of Steel Magnolias premiered at the Paris Theater, in advance of the film's debut on Sunday, October 9 at 9pm ET/PT on Lifetime.
Guests at the premiere included Robin Antin, Leslie Odom Jr., Abby Lee Miller, Kimberly Goldson, Cappie Pondexter, and Admad Rashad.
Set in the present day, this contemporary version of the beloved stage play and 1989 film follows the lives and friendship of six women in Louisiana.
The star-studded cast features Queen Latifah, Phylicia Rashad, Alfre Woodard, Condola Rashad, and Jill Scott as well as Adepero Oduye, Tory Kittles, and Justin Martin.
