Pinkins won a Tony for Jelly's Last Jam, and was Tony-nominated for Play On! and Caroline, or Change. Her recent Off-Broadway credits include Storefront Church, Hurt Village, and Milk Like Sugar.

Adams co-starred in the Broadway production of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert and has also appeared in such Main Stem shows as A Chorus Line, Guys and Dolls, and La Cage Aux Folles.
