Ally Sheedy will host A Place at the Table, the second annual dinner to benefit the Ali Forney Center (AFC), to be held at Studio 450 on Thursday, October 6.

The evening will include a cocktail reception and silent auction, and will also honor GLSEN Founder, Kevin Jennings and celebrity photographer Mike Ruiz.

Sheedy has starred on stage in Advice from a Caterpillar, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, and Triptych, and is well known for her performances in such films as The Breakfast Club and High Art.

AFC is the nation’s largest organization dedicated to homeless LGBT youth, ages 16 to 24, providing them with the support and services they need to escape the streets.
