Chelsea Cinema to Show Witches of Eastwick, Young Frankenstein, et al.

The Chelsea Cinema (West 23rd Street between 7th and 8th Avenues) has announced its line-up for its Thursday night Chelsea Classics series. The 7pm shows are hosted by Hedda Lettuce, while the 9:30pm shows are hosted by Barry Z.

Upcoming features include Alfred Hitchock’s Psycho (October 16) and The Birds (October 30); George Miller’s The Witches of Eastwick (October 23); and three films by Mel Brooks: Young Frankenstein (November 6); To Be or Not to Be (November 13); and History of the World Part I (November 20).

Its monthly Saturday night series will feature Mommie Dearest, starring Faye Dunaway as Joan Crawford (October 25), and Valley of the Dolls, starring Patty Duke, Barbara Parkins, Sharon Tate, and Lee Grant (November 15).
