The show, which allows the audience to experience Broadway as an insider, will star a Broadway actor whom the audience will watch go from auditioning to actually appearing on the Broadway stage. For his "audition," the actor even performs a unique song and dance routine created specifically for Planet Broadway.

The show will also include a documentary, featuring Broadway performers, young and old sharing their stories of making it to the Great White Way.

Galde is a company member of Wicked, while McCourt plays Von Hussler in Mary Poppins. The duo also created Behind the Emerald Curtain, which provides an interactive backstage tour of the Broadway musical, Wicked.
