Colin Donnell, Michael Esper, Charlotte Parry, and Stephen Payne will join previously announced stars Tyne Daly and Brian Murray in the world premiere of Edward Albee's Me, Myself And I, to play the McCarter Theatre in Princeton, New Jersey, January 11-February 17. The production, which will open officially on January 18, will be helmed by Emily Mann, the McCarter's artistic director.
The play concerns a pair of identical twins named Otto (played by Esper and Donnell) and the mother (Daly) who can't keep them straight. The show will feature set design by Thomas Lynch, costume design by Jennifer von Mayrhauser, lighting design by Kenneth Posner, and sound design by Darron L West.
The show is part of this year's "Albee Season," in honor of the playwright's 80th birthday, which also includes Second Stage Theater's production of Peter and Jerry, the Cherry Lane's remounting of The Sandbox and The American Dream, and the Signature Theatre's production of Occupant.
