Gabriel Byrne and Kim Cattrall will be among the celebrities in attendance at the Irish Arts Center’s annual gala, to be held on Friday, October 7 at the New York Athletic Club (180 Central Park South), beginning at 7pm.

Comedian Eddie Brill will emcee the event. Noted author Pete Hamill will be on hand to present awards to Terry George (the screenwriter and director of Hotel Rwanda) and business leader Andrew Breslin. There will also be a live auction of items including original artwork by Pierce Brosnan, dinner with Liam Neeson, and dinner with Byrne, who is a member of the Arts Center’s board of directors and a co-producer of its current show, The Blowin’ of Baile Gail.

Byrne will co-star in the upcoming Roundabout Theatre Company production of Eugene O’Neill’s A Touch of the Poet. Cattrall, best known for her role of Samantha in Sex and the City, starred in a London production of Whose Life Is It, Anyway? earlier this year.

Tickets to the gala are priced at $300 and can be purchased by calling 212-758-3318, ext. 203.
