The ceremony, which featured a speech by daughter Melissa, was filmed for a segment of their We TV show, Joan and Melissa: Joan Knows Best?.

Also on hand was Melissa’s son, Cooper, Theater 80 owners, the Otway family, and fashion designer Richie Rich.

Rivers’ handprint will be placed outside the theater, joining the likes of Gloria Swanson, Ruby Keeler, Myrna Loy, and Dom DeLuise.
