The play, set in the 1950s, focuses on Caleb, a young man who arrives at a Nevada retreat that caters to men seeking a divorce. But Caleb's reasons for leaving his Hollywood home may run deeper than matrimonial problems.
Charman's other plays include A Night at the Dogs, The Five Wives of Maurice Pinder, and The Observer.
As previously reported, Manhattan Theatre Club's season at City Center will also include Zoe Kazan's We Live Here. On Broadway, the company will produce David Ives' Venus in Fur, Margaret Edson's Wit, and David Auburn's The Columnist.
