Joan Jett Nominated For Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

Joan Jett, who co-starred in the 2000 Broadway production of The Rocky Horror Show, is among this year's nominees for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The induction ceremony will be held on October 14.

To qualify, an act must have released its first single or album 25 years ago.

In addition to Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, this year's other nominees include Beastie Boys, The Cure, Donovan, Eric B. & Rakim, Guns 'N Roses, Heart, Freddie King, Laura Nyro, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rufus with Chaka Khan, The Small Faces/The Faces, The Spinners, Donna Summer, and War.
