Producer Jordan Roth has succeeded Rocco Landesman as President of Jujamcyn Theaters, the owner and operator of five major Broadway theaters. Landesman presided over the organization from 1987 until his confirmation as Chairman of the National Endowment for the Arts in August.

In a statement, Landesman said, “Jordan Roth is the next generation of leadership for our organization and our industry. I am excited for him to take Jujamcyn into the future, and I am gratified to know that he will be in New York as a smart and passionate advocate for the Broadway community.”

Roth, who is also obtaining an ownership stake in the company, joined Jujamcyn Theaters in 2005 as resident producer and became vice president the following year. He has shepherded such Tony Award-winning productions as Spring Awakening and Hair to Jujamcyn houses. In addition, he has produced shows such as A Catered Affair, The Rocky Horror Show and the Off-Broadway production of The Donkey Show.
