Brian Stokes Mitchell to Be Master of Ceremonies for Broadway Salutes

Tony Award winner Brian Stokes Mitchell will be Master of Ceremonies for Broadway Salutes, a public celebration honoring Broadway artists, to be held on September 22 at 4pm in Father Duffy Square.

The free event will particularly recognize individuals who have worked more than 25 in their respective theatrical craft, including costume designer Theoni V. Aldredge, actor Tom Aldredge, and Harriet Slaughter, who recently concluded 29 years of service with The Broadway League. Other theater professionals honored will include stagehands, theater owners, actors, producers, casting directors, general managers, publicists, ushers, designers, directors, choreographers, and musicians.

Celebrities expected to attend include Gary Beach, Stephen Bogardus, Carolee Carmello, Andre de Shields, Gregg Edelman, Dana Ivey, Judy Kuhn, Kecia Lewis-Evansm and Lee Roy Reams.
