Hornsby, Turman, White, et al. to Star in Wilson’s Two Trains Running

Ebony Repertory Theatre, a new company formed by Wren T. Brown, will present a revival of August Wilson’s Two Trains Running, October 8-November 9 at the Nate Holden Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles. The production, which opens officially on October 10, will be directed by Israel Hicks, the company’s artistic director.

The play, part of Wilson’s Pittsburgh Hill Cycle, is set in a soon-to-close diner in 1969, focusing on the story of its owner Memphis Lee, and its customers and employees.

The cast will feature Earl Billings, Russell Hornsby, Felton Perry, Roger Robinson, Glynn Turman, Michole Briana White, and Ellis E. Williams. The creative team includes Ed Haynes (sets) and Ruth E. Carter (costumes).
