Patrick Stewart, Samantha Bond, Roger Rees, Stephen Campbell Moore, Mark Hadfield, Sinead Cusack, and Lisa Dillon will perform the work of William Shakespeare and the contemporary poetry of Felix Dennis in a one-night-only event titled Big Voices on Monday, September 20, under the direction of RSC associate artistic director Laurence Boswell. The event will take place at Gotham Hall, located at 1356 Broadway in Manhattan. Cocktails and canapes will be served at 7:15pm and the performance will begin at 8pm. Proceeds from the evening will support the work of the Royal Shakespeare Company in the U.S., the U.K., and around the world.

The Royal Shakespeare Company is one of the world’s best known theater ensembles, focusing on works by Shakespeare, other Renaissance dramatists, and contemporary writers. Felix Dennis, in addition to being an accomplished poet, is an entrepreneur in personal computer magazines and a computer mail order company. Dennis’s first collection of poetry, A Glass Half Full, was published in November 2002 by Hutchinson in the U.K. to widespread acclaim after the writer survived a life-threatening illness.

All tickets for Big Voices are priced at $200; they can be purchased by clicking here or by calling 800-494-8497.
