Original Broadway cast members Dan Lauria, John Bolton, Erin Dilly, and Caroline O’Connor will appear in the upcoming northeast tour of Benj Pasek, Justin Paul, and Joseph Robinette’s Tony Award-nominated musical, A Christmas Story, the Associated Press reports.

The wintertime tour will play Hartford’s Bushnell November 12-17, Boston’s Wang Theatre November 20-December 8, and Manhattan’s Theater at Madison Square Garden December 11-29.

Lauria will reprise his role as narrator Jean Shepherd, alongside Bolton as The Old Man, Dilly as Mother, and O’Connor as Miss Shields. The leading role of Ralphie, the young boy with a big imagination and a desire for a Red Ryder BB Gun, will be played by Jake Lucas. John Rando directs, with Warren Carlyle as choreographer.

Nominated for six Drama Desk Awards and three Tonys (including Best Book, Best Score, and Best Musical), A Christmas Story is inspired by the cult-classic film of the same title and the stories of late humorist Shepherd.

Additional casting will be announced in the coming weeks.
