The NY Philharmonic has announced three one-night concerts which will take place during the 2012-2013 season.

First, raconteur Garrison Keillor will perform as a narrator and vocalist for Mr. Keillor at 70 (October 16 at 7:30pm), which Keillor describes as, “A personal narrative of 70 years of music in a man’s head…” The program will feature conductor Rob Fisher and vocalist Christine DiGiallonardo. Then, conductor Paul Gemignani will lead the Philharmonic in Symphonic Sondheim (January 29 at 7:30pm), a program of symphonic suites by composer Stephen Sondheim, that includes a newly commissioned arrangement from Sunday in the Park with George.

The season’s final one-night concert will feature Tony Award-winning performer and Metropolitan Opera singer Paulo Szot joining the Philharmonic and conductor Ted Sperling for An Evening with Paulo Szot (June 4 at 7:30pm), a diverse program of Brazilian, operatic, Broadway, and concert songs.
