Brian Murray and Bebe Neuwirth will star in a reading of Noel Coward’s Star Quality, to be held Monday, August 13 at 6pm at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts‘ Bruno Walter Auditorium. The reading is directed by Keith Merrill, artistic director of the producing organization Noel and Company.

Star Quality, which was never produced in Coward’s lifetime, follows a diva actress, a naive playwright, a novice director, and his jaded assistant.

The cast will also include Alison Fraser, Sandra Shipley, Max Gordon Moore, Andy Prosky, David Graham Jones, Roger De Witt, and Alex Rice.

The reading is produced by Noel and Company producing director Mary Ellen Ashley and managing director Christopher John Stegmayer. It is presented in conjunction with the Library’s exhibition Star Quality: The World of Noel Coward, which runs through August 18.

Admission to Star Quality is free and on a first-come, first-served basis. Click here for more information.
