Miche Braden and the cast of Penguin Rep Theatre's Off-Broadway production of Angelo Parra's The Devil's Music: The Life and Blues of Bessie Smith, rang the closing bell at NASDAQ on Tuesday, August 9. On hand was David Wicks, NASDAQ's Vice President, to welcome the cast.

Braden plays the title role in the show, which tells the story of the world-famous blues singer's amazing life and career. The cast also features Aaron Graves, Jim Hankins, Keith Loftis, and Anthony E. Nelson, Jr. The production performs at St. Luke's Theater. Joe Brancato has conceived and directed the piece.
