Glenn Close to Be Honored at San Sebastian Film Festival

Tony Award winner Glenn Close will receive a lifetime achievement award at the San Sebastian Film Festival in Spain on September 18.


Close will also present the European premiere of her new film, Albert Nobbs, an adaptation of the play about a 19th-century Irish woman who passes herself as a male butler.


Close has won three Tony Awards, for Sunset Boulevard, Death and the Maiden and The Real Thing. She has received five Oscar nominations for her film work, which includes The World According to Garp, Fatal Attraction, Dangerous Liaisons, and The Big Chill, and three Emmy Awards for Damages and Serving in Silence.
