Todd Buonopane to Join Cast of Click, Clack, Moo

Todd Buonopane will join the cast of Theatreworks USA’s Click, Clack, Moo a new musical based on the children’s book by Doreen Cronin and Betsy Lewin, at the Lucille Lortel Theatre, beginning with the August 17 performance. He replaces original cast member Michael Thomas Holmes in the role of Loretta the cow.

The production, which runs through August 28, is directed by Tony Award winner John Rando and choreographed by Wendy Seyb. The cast also includes Gretchen Bieber as Darlene (a cow), Kristy Cates as Maddie (another cow), Drew McVety as Farmer Brown, DeMond B. Nason as Duck, and Kirsten Wyatt as Jenny/Chicken.

The show, about cows protesting their working conditions, features a book by Billy Aronson, lyrics by Kevin Del Aguila, and music by Brad Alexander. It features scenic design by Beowulf Boritt, costume design by Lora LaVon, lighting design by Matthew Richards, and sound design by Jeremy Wilson.

Tickets are free and available only on a first come, first served basis in-person at the Lucille Lortel Theatre Box Office on the day of the performance, one hour prior to curtain time.
