Hem’s Twelfth Night CD Featuring Audra McDonald, Anne Hathway, et al. to Get October Release.

Anne Hathaway, Audra McDonald, Raúl Esparza and David Pittu are all featured on the upcoming CD release of Hem’s original music for Daniel Sullivan’s production of Twelfth Night, seen at the Delacorte Theatre in Central Park earlier this summer. The disc will be available on October 27.

Hem collaborated with the Twelfth Night cast and director to create the songs heard in the production, and Hem band member Steve Curtis was integrated into the production, performing onstage alongside the cast.

The disc features The Illyrian Marching Band and The Gowanus Radio Orchestra, which includes Dan Messe (piano), Steve Curtis (guitar, harmony vocal, percussion), Gary Maurer (mandolin, guitar), Sally Ellyson (vocals), Mark Brotter (drums) and George Rush (bass).
