Cutko, Dunn, Gerroll, and Larsen Head Silk Stockings Cast

Valerie Cutko, Wally Dunn, Daniel Gerroll, and Liz Larsen head the cast of the Lost Musicals presentation of Silk Stockings at Florence Gould Hall, which will play September 11, 19, 26, and October 3. This adaptation of the famed Greta Garbo film Ninotchka features a score by Cole Porter and a book by George S. Kaufman, Leueen MacGrath, and Abe Burrows.

Ian Marshall Fisher, well known for his work in London, will direct the performances, which will benefit the Lost Musicals Charitable Trust. The original Broadway production of Silk Stockings opened in 1955, starring Don Ameche and Hildegarde Neff; but the property is better known in its 1957 film version, starring Fred Astaire and Cyd Charisse. The cast for the Lost Musicals production also includes Robert Ari, Meghann Babo, Ryan Brunton, Sarahjean Davenport, Ray DeMattis, Philip Deyesso, Bill Galarno, Bryan Kenneth, Jean McCormick, Ann Rothenberg, Jeffrey Stern, and Peter Van Wagner. Lawrence Yurman will serve as musical director, and there will be musical staging by Donald Saddler.

Cutko, who will play Ninotchka, has been seen in the West End in Chicago, Off-Broadway in Love’s Labour’s Lost, and in the Paper Mill Playhouse production of Fanny. Dunn, who will play Brankov, has appeared on Broadway in Gypsy. Gerroll, who will play Steven Canfield, is currently appearing in the Second Stage production of The Dear Boy. Larsen, who will play Janice Dayton, is a member of the company of Hairspray and received a Tony Award nominaton for her performance in the 1992 revival of The Most Happy Fella.
