Lincoln Center Theater has announced the addition of two new plays to its 2014-15 season. Bathsheba Doran's The Mystery of Love and Sex will begin previews February 5 and open March 2 at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater. In addition, the LCT3 production of Verité by Nick Jones will play January 31-March 15, 2015, with an opening on February 18 at The Claire Tow Theater.

The Mystery of Love and Sex, which will be directed by Sam Gold, is the story of four individuals whose lives remain inextricably intertwined over time. The play was commissioned by Lincoln Center Theater with a Berwin Lee New Play Commission. Sets will be designed by Andrew Lieberman, with costumes by Kaye Voyce, lighting by Jane Cox, and original music and sound by Daniel Kluger.

Verité follows Josephine, a stay-at-home mom and struggling writer who is offered an unusual deal for her memoir: She has to make her life exciting enough to publish. Directed by Moritz von Stuelpnagel, the play will feature sets by Andrew Boyce, costumes by Melissa Schlachtmeyer, and lighting by Matthew Richards. Verité was commissioned by LCT3.

Casting for both plays will be announced at a later date.
