Olivier Award nominee Anne-Marie Duff, who currently stars in London's National Theatre revival of Strange Interlude, will play Lady Macbeth to Ethan Hawke's ambitious Scot in Jack O'Brien's upcoming revival of William Shakespeare's Macbeth for Lincoln Center Theater. The production is scheduled to begin previews at the Vivian Beaumont Theater on October 24 in advance of a November 21 opening.

Duff, best known for her BAFTA-nominated performances in The Virgin Queen, Nowhere Boy, and Shameless, will make her New York stage debut in the production. Her many UK stage credits include St. Joan (for which she received an Olivier Award nomination and won the London Critics Circle Award), Collected Stories (Olivier Award nomination), King Lear, War and Peace, and Cause Celebre, among others. Her many film credits include Before I Go to Sleep and The Last Station.

The creative team for Macbeth includes Scott Pask (scenic design), Catherine Zuber (costume design), Japhy Weideman (lighting design), and Mark Bennett (original music and sound).
