The 2013 Tony Award-winning Broadway production of Christopher Durang's Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike welcomed Tony winner Julie White (The Little Dog Laughed) to the company at the John Golden Theatre on July 30. White takes over the role of Masha from originator Sigourney Weaver, who departed the comedy on July 28.

Following the performance, the cast presented White with a floral bouquet to celebrate the occasion. The actress is joined in the production by 2013 Tony nominees David Hyde Pierce (Vanya), Kristine Nielsen (Sonia), Billy Magnussen (Spike), and Shalita Grant (Cassandra), as well as Liesel Allen Yeager (Nina). Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike's Broadway run, directed by Nicholas Martin, will conclude its run on August 25.
