New York City Center‘s acclaimed production of Duke Ellington’s Cotton Club Parade will return to the venue for a limited engagement November 14-18. Warren Carlyle directs and choreographs the production, which features music direction by Wynton Marsalis.

Conceived by Jack Viertel and presented under the auspices of City Center’s Encores! series, the show is a celebration of Ellington’s years at the famed Harlem nightclub in the 1920s and ’30s.

The production will feature the Jazz at Lincoln Center All Stars — composed of 15 of the finest jazz soloists and ensemble players — under the direction of Daryl Waters. Casting for this engagement will be announced at a later date.

The design team will include John Lee Beatty (scenic consultant), Toni-Leslie James (costume consultant), Peter Kaczorowski (lighting designer), and Scott Lehrer (sound designer).
