Sweetie, Bradford Scobie, Gina Vetro, et al. Set for TWEED’s Summer & Tokes Readings

Casting has been announced for Summer & Tokes, to be presented in two staged reading performances August 4-5 at 7:30pm at Dixon Place. Kevin Maloney will direct the piece, which is being offered as part of The TWEED Fractured Classicks Series.

The show, a satire inspired by Tennessee Williams’Summer and Smoke, focuses on a preacher’s spinster daughter and the tawdry boy next door with whom she falls in love.

The company will feature Sweetie, Bradford Scobie, Gina Vetro, Judith Greentree, David Ilku, Wes Urish, Colleen O’Neill, Steve Hayes and Joseph Keckler.
