On Sunday, July 24, the documentary
One Night Stand premiered at the NewFest Film Festival with a screening at the School for the Visual Arts. Directors Elisabeth Sperling and Trish Dalton participated in a Q&A after the premiere.
The movie is a look behind the scenes at The Exchange’s 24 Hour Musicals project, in which some of New York’s top theater, film, and television actors, writers and directors are given 24 hours to write, cast, rehearse and perform four short musicals.
Attendees at the event also included actors Mandy Gonzalez, Cheyenne Jackson, Capathia Jenkins, Michael Longoria, and Nellie McKay, directors Maria Mileaf and Ted Sperling, and composers Benj Pasek and Gabriel Kahane.
