52nd Street Project to Offer Cookin’! All the Plays You Can Eat

New work by Carlo Alban, Megan Cramer, Dylan Dawson, Emily Dorsch, Graeme Gillis, Tasha Gordon-Solmon, Gretchen Hall, Brian Hastert, Cynthia Kaplan, Michael Lew, Ephraim Lopez, Sascha Paladino, Joanna Parson, Vickie Ramirez, John Sheehy, and Brielle Silvestri will be featured in The 52nd Street Project’s Cookin’! All the Plays You Can Eat, to be offered July 23-25 at the company’s Five Angels Theater.

The pieces have been developed as part of the group’s One-on-One initiative, which pairs each of ten kids with an adult theater professional who writes a one-act play that will star the youngster. After the adults meet their young collaborators at the Project and discuss the children’s visions for the plays, the entire group goes out of town to the country or the seashore for a week of work on their plays.
